Bill Bagley Minerals

Bill Bagley Rocks and Minerals

Minerals, Rocks, Photography, and more, of Bills interests.

Over the years, I have picked up quite a number of mineral and rock specimens. a good number of which have been picked up on Geology Club field trips. The specimens are housed in my back garden in a large container, In an ongoing process, many of the specimens I have photographed so far are listed on this site. Although I am not an expert, but an enthusiastic amateur, I do try and give accurate information about each specimen to the best of my ability. I have photographed all the specimens with an included scale bar The minerals and rocks on the home page are in alphabetical order, with rocks following on from the minerals. Information on a particular mineral or rock can be quickly located, using the AtoZ listing. Minerals and rocks from the Central Wales Orefield are identified as ( CWO ). I would appreciate feedback on my postings, and thanks for looking.

I have been a keen photographer for many years. For most of the years I have displayed my photographs A3+ size in a display board adjacent to the pavement by my front gate. Each photograph is numbered and titled and headed BILLS PICTURE OF THE WEEK All of the photographs on this site have been displayed on the board.  The photographs have been taken solely for pleasure, and before this website, only seen by casual passers by..

I have other interests, a few of which are mentioned on this website, For instance, I have always been interested in old engravings and illustrations, some of which I have photographed and put on the site.  It would be impossible to show every item of philatelic interest, so I am showing a few random facets which will be familiar to fellow philatelists. I am an engineer by trade, so I have shown the progress of restoration of a 1933 velocette. I may show some other projects later on.

Please note that some of the photographs are poor quality, especially in the prints and glass sections. This because they were originally intended for cataloguing purposes only. The poor photographs will be gradually replaced.
